GAME: WHAT'S THE TIME?

Here is a nice game to learn how to tell the time. You just need to know how to say:

"en punto" - It's three o' clock.
"y media" - It's half past three.

There are three different levels:

LEVEL 1. It is very basic and works on "o' clock".
LEVEL 2. It is not so difficult but you will need some help to work on "quarter to" and "quarter past".
LEVEL 3. It is so difficult for your age. Forget about this one. You will learn it in Year 3.

TOPIC 5: DAILY ROUTINES AND TIME

These are the questions related to the topic. Are you giving long answers? I hope you do

What time do you get up?
What time do you go to school?
When do you have breakfast?
What time do you go to bed?
When do you have lunch?

Routines and time

Aunque no estén en la grabación, tendréis que practicar todas las acciones que hemos visto en clase y tenéis escritas en el cuaderno:

brush your teeth, do your homework, watch TV, have dinner, take a shower, play computer games, go home, wash your face, get dressed, etc.

How many bedrooms does your house have?

Tell me about your bedroom

The next three questions can be answered by pointing to a map of a house (you can use the one glued in your notebooks)

Where is the kitchen?
Where is the bedroom?
Where is the bathroom?

TOPIC 4: MY CLOTHES

Here you have more questions related to this topic. Click on the link to listen to them. Remember to give long answers.

Tell me what you are wearing today
Are your trousers green?
Is your skirt red?
What colour's your dress?

The next question IS NOT in the recording list but you have to practise it too:

Do you get dressed on your own?
Yes, I do
No, I don´t. My mother helps me get dressed.

You can also keep playing the clothes vocabulary games included in this blog.

DANI'S CONCERT WAS JUST GREAT!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the magnificent concert of Dani.

We knew all the songs he played and we had a fantastic time.

What a great day!

We danced and sang very much with our carnival costumes on.

Every costume was related to the solar system.

Bright stars here and brave astronauts there.

Some hot suns here and lovely moons there.

Remember you have a spelling test about the topics "My family" and "My house" this Wednesday. Study as much as you can and use the different ideas we shared at school. See you on Monday!
